SJU IS 1. a University which brings up ministers who meet the requirements of Korean church on the basis of evangelical theology and through high degree of education. 2. a University which brings up true believers who will serve their country and church on the basis of the true christian value and through their faithful life. 3. a University which brings up specialists equipped with the sense of creativity and criticism based on their faith. 4. a University which brings up men and women of high culture and intellect through constant and proper research over variety of sciences. 5. a University which brings up citizens of the world who understand variety of cultural features and serve the world community in the age of globalization.

Unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.
