One of the most important thing in our religious life is a reverential worship, and one of the most important element in the reverential worship is church music. The goal of the Department of Church Music is to bring up professional and competent leader of church music who will perform this kind of musical activity successfully. For this purpose This department provides a systemic education both for general musical knowledge and skill and for the qualification of church music ministry. The department is composed of Vocal music, Piano, Organ, Conducting, and Composition. Each part gives basic musical training focused on the theory and practice- of general music as well as of church music. It also offers a variety of subjects such as Harmony, Counterpoint, Sight-singing & ear-training, Musical forms, Aesthetics of music, Voice class, Piano class, Organ class, Applied major, Introduction to Church music, Liturgy and music, Hymnody, Church music literature, Choral conduction, Accompanying, etc.
