This department has been doing its best to
cultivate men of ability for ministry and missionary
work succeeding to the tradition of its forerunner
Seoul Jangnohoe Sinhakkyo that has produced more
than 3000 pastors for the Korean church. This
department has its quota of 52 students for each
grade and 230 students in total with 11 full time
Professors, 2 adjunct Professors, and numerous
instructors most of whom are famous theologians
and pastors who have contributed to our education
for scholarly attainments and religious integrity.
We're especially focusing on the preparatory education
through Undergraduate course for the further study
in Divinity School to be competent pastors. For
that purpose we put our special emphasis on basic
liberal arts and foreign language education such
as English and Biblical language. So we carry
out a regular Bible Test and English Test to check
out students' right comprehension of the Bible
and their linguistic ability. We
also run Institute of Theology for Church for
the sake of raising competent pastors and promoting
a close tie with Church on the firm basis of the
tradition of Presbyterian Church and its authentic
theology. One of its most important project is
a
Seminar in Theology which is held twice a year.
