SeoulJangsin University is a solid supporter of the students who are struggling in their own field to break through the obstacles in life for their future goals. SJU has established about 10 kinds of scholarship welfare, and are now giving our competent students boundless profits with a variety of scholarships such as academic, service, work, labor, and ministry scholarship etc.

Scholarship of University

  • Freshman Academic Scholarship: Granted according to the grade in entrance examination (for one semester per every academic year)
  • Academic Scholarship: Granted to those who made excellent grades (selected every semester among enrolled students)
  • Labor Scholarship: for those who have worked in each part of the administrative staff
  • Service Scholarship : For those who have contributed to the development of our school, or student activities such as the staff of the General Students Association or reporters of Seoul Jangsin School Bulletin etc.
  • Pastor's Descendant Scholarship: Granted to the children or a wife of a pastor in charge of a dependent church which belongs to our church association, located in a province. (by the unit of sub-county or below)
  • General Scholarship: Granted to needy students who are unable to pay for school expenses screened by Scholarship Committee.
  • Province Pastor Scholarship: Granted to pastors in charge of a province church (among enrolled students recommended by the chairman of a synod)
  • Missionary Scholarship: Granted to foreign students ( decided in advance when admitted )
  • Staff's Descendant Scholarship: Granted to the children of the members of our school faculty, staff or workers or of our school foundation
  • Off-campus Scholarship: Granted according to the method designated by the donator of a trust Scholarship
  • Descendent Scholarship: Granted to one who is enrolled in our school with another member of his family. ( In a direct line proved by resident registration)

Scholarship of Graduate School

  • Freshman Academic Scholarship: Granted to the top student for a registration fee of a semester (Divinity School)
  • Alumni Scholarship: Granted to those who graduated from our university 30% off of registration fee. (except in Divinity School)
  • Pastor Scholarship: Granted to pastors, pastor's wives, and evangelists 30% off of registration fee. (except in Divinity School)
  • Social worker Scholarship: Granted to those who work for a social welfare organization or other civil servants who work for a relevant institution 30% off of registration fee.(Graduate School of Social Welfare)
  • Specialist Scholarship: Granted to specialists such as doctors, herbalists (oriental doctors), a pharmacist etc. 30% off of registration fee. (Graduate School of Missions)
  • Expert Skill-holer Scholarship: Granted to those who are officially recognized as expert skill-holder 30% off of registration fee. ( except in Divinity School )
  • Academic Scholarship: Granted to those who made an excellent grade (by each graduate school, according to the record of previous semester)
  • Distinguished service Scholarship: Granted to those who made a remarkable contribution to the honor of our university through their various activities
  • Labor Scholarship: for those who have worked in each part of our administrative staff
  • Pastor's Descendant Scholarship: Granted to the children of a pastor in charge of a dependent church which belongs to our church association, located in a subcounty or below unit. (Divinity School)
  • Staff's Descendant Scholarship: Granted to the children or wives of the members of our school faculty, staff or workers or of school foundation, 50 % off of registration fee.
  • Province Pastor Scholarship: Granted to pastors in charge of a province church. (Divinity School)
  • General Scholarship: Granted to needy students who are unable to pay for school expenses, proved by documentary evidence.
  • Off-campus Scholarship: Granted according to the method designated by the donor of a trust Scholarship
